Event at Eurofurence 28

What?

The meet-up was a chance to meet other furries from the Fediverse in a relaxed atmosphere, exchange stickers, and take a group picture.

After our first Fediverse panel at EF27, I wanted to focus more on the meet-up aspect this time. There was no long technical presentation, just a cozy space for an estimated 50 Fediverse furs to hang out and chat. We had a Fediwall projected on the wall of the panel room, showing Fediverse posts with the hashtags #Eurofurence, #EF28, or #EF28Fedi in real-time, and our background music was the DJ set Primitive Ruckus by Lupomancer.

When & Where?

Our meet-up took place on Thursday, September 19 (con day 2) from 19:00 until 20:30 in room X 2, on the first floor of the CCH.

Staying in touch

We have a Matrix and Telegram group for staying in touch during and after the convention. They’re bridged, and everything posted on one side will be forwarded to the other, so you only need to join one.
